The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) is profoundly reshaping the foundations of global social governance. Amid the growing global challenge of population ageing, the integration of AI with services for older adults and volunteer systems has become a crucial pathway for innovation.
To thoroughly implement President Xi’s important instructions on volunteer service, promote the spirit and culture of volunteerism, and further advance the deep integration of China’s volunteering and public welfare sectors with AI-driven technological innovation, the Volunteering and Public Welfare Division, China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (CAGG), together with the Institute of Ageing Studies, Peking University, under the guidance of the China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics and the Institute of Population Research, Peking University, will jointly host the 2025 Annual Academic Conference and the Third Forum on Ageing, Volunteering, and Public Welfare Services on November 15–16, 2025.
The organizing committee now invites researchers, practitioners, and organizations engaged in volunteer service and public welfare to submit outstanding academic papers and practice cases for inclusion in this event.
